This Payment Policy sets out the methods by which Getwellnatura accepts payment, how each method works at checkout, the protections applied to your card details, and the process for refunds. It applies to every order placed through getwellnatura.co.uk.
1. Accepted payment methods
At Getwellnatura, we value your safety and convenience. The following payment methods are available at checkout. The methods displayed depend on the device and browser used.

2. How each payment method works
Card payments (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
Card payments are processed securely through our PCI-compliant payment partners.
- Choose card payment at checkout.
- Enter your card number, expiry date, and security code.
- If your bank requires it, complete the 3D Secure step (a code, fingerprint, or face scan, depending on your bank's setup).
- Once the bank confirms the transaction, you are returned to our site and an order confirmation email is sent.
Apple Pay
Apple Pay is available on supported Apple devices.
- Choose Apple Pay at checkout.
- Authenticate with Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode.
- Apple Pay confirms the payment with your bank using a tokenised card number.
- The order confirmation is shown on screen and emailed to you.
Google Pay
Google Pay is available on supported Android and Chrome devices.
- Choose Google Pay at checkout.
- Confirm the saved card you wish to use.
- Approve the payment using your device's authentication method.
- You are returned to our site and an order confirmation email is sent.
Shop Pay
Shop Pay is the accelerated checkout offered by Shopify.
- Enter your email at checkout. If you have a Shop Pay profile, your saved details are recalled.
- Confirm the verification code sent to your phone or email.
- Review the order and confirm.
- You are returned to our site and an order confirmation email is sent.
PayPal
PayPal is processed directly by PayPal.
- Choose PayPal at checkout.
- You are redirected to PayPal to log in.
- Confirm the payment within your PayPal account.
- You are returned to our site and an order confirmation email is sent.
3. Currency and VAT
All prices are listed in pounds sterling (GBP). UK VAT is included where applicable. The VAT-inclusive price displayed at checkout is the price payable. Delivery within the United Kingdom is free on every order.
4. When payment is taken
Payment is captured in full at checkout when the order is placed. Getwellnatura does not pre-authorise and capture later. The contract of sale is formed when the dispatch confirmation is sent, as set out in our Terms of Service.
5. Security and protection
Your security is our highest priority. All transactions are encrypted in transit using TLS, and card details are tokenised by our PCI-compliant payment partners. Getwellnatura does not view or store full card numbers on its own systems. Card payments are processed through Shopify Payments; wallet payments via Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay are processed through the same secure infrastructure; PayPal payments are processed by PayPal directly. The Site is monitored on an ongoing basis to remain compliant with the latest security standards.

6. 3D Secure authentication
UK card payments are protected by 3D Secure (Verified by Visa, Mastercard Identity Check, American Express SafeKey). At checkout, the issuing bank may require the customer to confirm the payment using a code, fingerprint, or face scan. This requirement forms part of UK Strong Customer Authentication rules. If authentication fails, the payment is declined and may be retried.
7. Currency conversion
For payments made with cards issued outside the United Kingdom, the issuing bank converts the GBP price into the customer home currency at its own exchange rate, and may apply a foreign transaction fee. Getwellnatura does not control this conversion and does not levy any additional currency fee. Customers with queries regarding non-GBP statement entries should contact their card provider.
8. Refunds
Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout. Refunds are processed within 7 business days of the returned goods being received at our warehouse. Funds typically appear in the customer account shortly thereafter, subject to the timing of the issuing bank or card provider. Full conditions and the return process are set out in our Return Policy.
9. Failed payments
If a payment is declined, the order is not created and no funds are deducted from the customer account. The issuing bank may display a temporary pending authorisation that is released within a few business days. Common causes of declined payments include an expired card, an incorrect billing address, insufficient funds, or a 3D Secure check that has timed out. Customers are advised to verify the card details, attempt an alternative payment method, or contact the issuing bank if the issue persists.
